Clenbuterol is a drug that is used in medicine to treat bronchial asthma. In recent years, it has found widespread use in bodybuilding and fitness due to its ability to burn fat, so it is often used by athletes for Vægttab and muscle drying. “Clen” cycles often include Thyroxine (T3) and Ketotifen to speed up the Vægttab process. Clenbuterol is unrelated to anabolic steroids and belongs to the adrenomimetics group, which has its physiological effect by stimulating the beta-2-adrenoceptors, which activates the sympathetic nervous system and triggers lipolysis.

Effects of Clenbuterol

The low frequency of side effects of this drug (the evidence from practice shows that there are almost no irreversible side effects) and a wide range of positive effects make Clenbuterol one of the best fat burners in bodybuilding. The full list of effects from the use of this drug include:

Clenbuterol dosages

This versatile drug by Dragon Pharma can be taken by both males and females. The dosage should be started at 1 tablet per day (40mcg). The dose can then be increased gradually every 2-3 days up to the tolerable dosage. The maximum daily dose is 120mcg for men and 100mcg for women. Towards the end of the cycle, the dosage should then be decreased in the same manner.

The duration of a Clenbuterol cycle can last from 2-4 weeks, then there should be a break for the same amount of time. If the cycle is more than 2 weeks, experts suggest that adding Ketotifen will reduce the risk of side effects.

Side effects

The side effects of Clenbuterol are common but can be easily relieved. Heart palpitations and high blood pressure may occur but they are relieved by beta-1-adrenoblockers (take 5mg of Bisoprolol or 50mg of Metoprolol in the morning). Shivering, insomnia and restlessness are also side effects of Clenbuterol but can be easily reduced with Ketotifen. Other side effects include sweating, nausea, headaches, diarrhea (only usually seen in the first few days of taking the drug) and seizures (in the case of an overdose).

As you can see, many of the side effects of Clenbuterol can be prevented with Ketotifen and Bisoprolol (Metoprolol). Also, it should be noted that most side effects are especially pronounced in the initial stages of the cycle only, and after a few days they subside or disappear completely.
